Scott’s Campaign Statement

I believe in the transformative power of education. I built my educational foundation at community college, earned an undergraduate degree in Business Management, and I am actively pursuing a graduate degree.

I value civic engagement, community dialogue, and transparent, thoughtful public decision-making. I have worked in the community service sector for over 25 years in youth development, supportive housing, and health advocacy. I understand how leaders engage with the community to make change.

As a Napa County Library Commissioner, I collaborated with regional representatives to develop policies to enhance internet access and improve community resources, and as a Napa Valley Transportation Authority Citizen Advisor, examined solutions for regional transportation, including access to Napa Valley College.

These roles have equipped me to effectively represent District 6 as Trustee. I am committed to fostering educational opportunities and community partnerships, and I am prepared to bring my civic-minded approach to Napa Valley College, ensuring that it continues as a beacon for educational access.

My strong record of attendance, participation, and leadership is well-documented within Napa County. I am eager to bring this commitment to serve as Trustee for Napa Valley College District 6.
