My strong background in communications and community service will help me tackle the most pressing issues with Napa Valley College.

As I seek a seat on the Napa Valley College Board of Trustees, I am deeply committed to upholding the institution’s core values of Integrity, Accountability, Respect, Inclusion, Equity-Mindedness, Social Justice, and Sustainability.

Integrity guides my approach to ensuring that we treat each other ethically and foster an environment of trust. It is essential that our actions align with our words, and I am dedicated to building a culture where transparency and ethical behavior are at the forefront of our decision-making processes.

Accountability is crucial in my commitment to aligning actions with promises. I recognize the importance of clear expectations and timely, well-communicated follow-through. This will help ensure that our initiatives and goals are met with clarity and effectiveness.

Respect for every individual is foundational to our community. I will strive to demonstrate consideration for others, actively listen, and engage in meaningful dialogue to achieve our common goals. Recognizing each other’s humanity and perspectives enriches our collective experience.

Social Justice is a principle I am committed to, particularly in being anti-racist and dismantling systemic injustices. Ensuring access to resources and opportunities is vital for the success of every student and community member.

Sustainability will be at the core of my efforts, recognizing the interconnectedness of a healthy ecological environment, human rights, and equitable economic stewardship. We must prioritize these aspects to safeguard the wellbeing of both current and future generations.
